Decentralized Web project

Centralized vs partially decentralized vs truly decentralized

Centralized communication:

- based on 'client-server' model

- Internet predominantly Centralized

- billions of Users (clients) access millions of web sites (servers)

- Users have only 1 directional (outward only) way of communication

- Users subjected to - government surveillance, censorship, termination of access

Blockchains - partially decentralized communication:

- Blockchains are DINO - decentralized in name only

- Most successful only in value store and transfer

- No direct User to User communication - one User writes to blockchain and other Users read from blockchain

- Centralization of successful blockchains

- Users still have only 1 directional way of communication

- Users subjected to 'paying rent' for every transaction

True decentralization:

- direct User to User communication

- 2 directional (outward + inward) communication

- enables radically different way of using internet

- decentralized search, messaging, computing
